LaDawn is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor-Associate (LCMHC-A) and the proud owner of D.A.W.N. Light Counseling Services, PLLC. A native of Durham, NC, she is an alumna of North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University (Aggie Pride!), where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 2008 and a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice in 2009. She later graduated from Grand Canyon University in 2017 with a Master of Science in Professional Counseling.

With over eight years of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults, LaDawn combines her educational background, professional expertise, and lived experiences to provide compassionate care. She deeply understands the importance of creating a safe, judgment-free space where individuals feel understood and supported by a relatable counselor.
